Are You The One

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Controller to lead our region-wide Finance and Accounting Team. If you have a proven ability to manage corporate and client funds, oversee accurate financial records across multiple jurisdictions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, this could be the perfect role for you. Join us in this pivotal position to ensure financial success and compliance within our MAS-regulated organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial control and reporting, and lead and guide the regional finance team.
  • Manage the firm's internal financial administration and prepare necessary reports on a timely basis for business planning, e.g., monthly management reports, annual budgets, and ad hoc forecasts.
  • Plan, implement, and maintain the NetSuite accounting system.
  • Facilitate audits and prepare supporting worksheets for audits.
  • Assist in legal entity setup, incorporation processes, and legal compliance.
  • Independently manage a full set of accounts.
  • Perform month-end closing for reporting and ensure the closing and reconciliation of all accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare reports such as cash flow position, management accounts, variances from the established budget, and MAS reporting.
  • Ensure expenses are complete and reasonable.
  • Proven experience in preparing, reviewing, and editing financial reports.
  • Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial matters, including accounting, tax, treasury, financial controls, and statutory compliance and reporting in Singapore and other countries we operate in.


Requirements

  • Professionally qualified Accountant.
  • Extensive experience in finance management (or another role responsible for pricing and/or accounting and/or treasury).
  • Proven experience in preparing, reviewing, and editing financial reports.
  • Experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Experience working with banks and financial institutions.
  • Experience in preparing annual budgets.
  • Experience working in IT, fintech, or growth companies.
  • Experience working in companies with overseas branches, subsidiaries, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including business acumen, persuasive abilities, leadership, and team player
  • Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
