Financial Controller (Manufacturing | West Singapore)
Our client is an established manufacturing business, looking for an experienced finance leader to oversee its Singapore finance function. This role combines financial control, commercial partnering and team leadership, working closely with senior management to support business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with senior business leaders to improve financial and operational performance.
- Deliver commercial insights across sales, margins, expenditure, pricing, cash flow and proposed investments.
- Manage planning cycles, including budgets, forecasts and longer-term financial plans.
- Monitor results against agreed targets and highlight performance gaps or business risks.
- Take ownership of financial closing, management reporting and regional submissions.
- Partner with the shared services team to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Oversee internal controls, tax, audit and broader compliance requirements.
- Manage working capital, capital expenditure, inventory and fixed-asset reporting.
- Support finance-related regulatory matters and cross-functional business initiatives.
- Manage and develop the local finance team.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
- Chartered Accountant or ACCA qualification.
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience.
- Prior exposure to a manufacturing or similarly operationally complex environment.
- Comfortable working with large-scale ERP platforms.
- Previous responsibility for managing and developing finance staff.
- Clear communicator with the confidence to present financial insights to senior management.
