Background
Our client is a dynamic tech company, headquartered in Singapore, with ambitious growth plans. As the company scales and plans for IPO, we are seeking a Financial Controller to strengthen its finance function, drive compliance, and support the expansion journey.
The Role
As Financial Controller, you will be reporting to the CEO and be a strategic backbone of its finance team. You will:
- Lead all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and compliance.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and governance frameworks.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support growth.
- Provide financial insights to guide strategic decisions and business expansion.
- Liaising with auditors, regulators, and advisors.
- Manage board affairs and corporate matters.
- Advise on compliance on corporate governance, regulatory obligations, and best practices.
Requirements
We're looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and strategic vision:
- Degree in Accountancy or ACCA with a recognised accounting qualification such as Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant.
- Have 8 - 10years of progressive experience in the finance, accounting or audit functions with at least 3 years in corporate/ reporting role in a SGX listed company is mandatory.
- IPO experience is an added advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and manage well at all levels.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and handle uncertainty.
- Relevant IT industry experience and having worked with ERP systems and Power BI will be advantageous.
- Availability to join immediately or at short notice is also preferred.
