Financial Controller

Our client, a leading asset management firm with a growing presence in Asia, is seeking an accomplished Financial Controller to join their Singapore office. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the firm's financial management, reporting integrity, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including management reporting, statutory accounts, consolidation, and budgeting for regional entities.

• Drive financial governance, internal controls, and process enhancement to support business growth and operational efficiency.

• Lead regulatory reporting and compliance requirements with MAS and other relevant authorities.

• Partner closely with senior management, investment teams, and external auditors to provide financial insights and ensure sound decision-making.

• Support capital structure planning, fund accounting oversight, and performance analysis across asset classes.

• Manage a small finance team, ensuring high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and professional development.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline CPA or equivalent professional qualification mandatory.

• 10-12+ years of finance experience, ideally with exposure to asset management, private equity, or financial services sectors.

• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, consolidation, and fund structures.

• Proven experience in managing audits, regional reporting, and regulatory compliance.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills with a proactive, business-partnering mindset.

• High integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
