Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst will provide finance support to the Integrated OSD and API Operations (IOAO). These key support activities include inventory management and toll manufacturing oversight of with vendors, financial month-end close and operation variances performance reporting. The position will also ensure internal controls compliance and Manufacturing Supply Agreement (MSA) governance.

The Financial Analyst is responsible to lead the financial month-end close review meetings and routine operational reviews with the IOAO Finance team, IOAO Supply Chain team and External Supply Operation Leads. The role will also liaise with extended functional teams such as Global Business Services (GBS) organization and other external services support such as Global Supply Chain, Intercompany operations, and PRIME.

Roles Responsibilities:

Inventory Management& Toll Manufacturing Oversight:

. Ensure the compliance of the inventory accounting policies and internal controls.

. Monitoring of the inventory obsolescence and risks and assist with the provision of distressed inventory with contract manufacturers.

. Monitor Inventory Tolling Reconciliations and provide the backflush MUV analysis for month-end reviews

. Tracks and summarize IOAO Inventory holdings and support working capital reporting

. Support PRIME reporting and submission of intercompany profit mark-up sales and inventory holdings

. Perform GRIR reconciliations and follow up with respective stakeholders

. Review the services for IOAO internal tolling operations, develop transition plan with stakeholder RACI charts.

. Participate in Finance integration projects and systems migration

Financial Planning and Analysis:

. Support financial budgeting, forecasting, actuals reporting and operational metrics tracking

. Perform analysis on production variances, cost revisions and variance deferral/amortization on a net cost basis

. Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support recommendations

. Maintain the relevant cost standards in SAP& Markup Systems.

. Identify and drive continuous process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.

Other Supported Areas of Operation:

. Support the month-end routines for IOAO External Supply and Supply Chain

. Represent finance to provide wide-ranging business partnering support to IOAO operations in managing the global supply of Oral Solid Dose (OSD) and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API)

. Prepare and submit Cadency Balance Sheet account reconciliations

. Coordinate new cost centers creation and cost center tagging review

. Provide financial analysis and evaluations for Plant Network Strategy analysis, Product launches, transfers and SKU rationalization

. Maintain work instructions, training, and business partnership communications

. Support Finance and other site initiatives as required

Qualifications:

. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

. Qualified Chartered Accountant preferred (ACCA,CA, CGMA, CPA equivalent)

. 6+ years of finance experience

. Manufacturing costing and freight logistics management experience will be an advantage

Technical Knowledge:

. Strong ability to understand complicated financial information and articulate financial guidance and actionable data insights

. Strong business partnership skills with ability to align expectations with stakeholders, provide follow up updates on status, and resolve issues that meet the stakeholder's needs

. Ability to plan and prioritize routine reporting and project work to meet deadlines

. Possess a continuous improvement mindset and will challenge status quo by engaging in active conversations with colleagues and management to explore ideas

. Microsoft Office with strong MS Excel capabilities and experience with SAP, EPM and PRIME would be an advantage

. Highly effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
