Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Financial Analyst Intern within the Qapita Founders Office, located in Singapore - supporting the team with Investor Relations, Corporate Development and Strategic Initiatives:
- Conduct research and analysis of market sizing, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Prepare data base and tear sheets of target companies and profiles.
- Assist with due diligence process of potential acquisition targets.
- Create investor marketing materials such as reports, pitch decks and memorandums.
- Build & maintain financial models for detailed business plans across all verticals and geographies.
- Maintain MIS & data room to support due diligence process in capital raising activities.
- Prepare cohort analysis reports based on account-level billing and telemetry data.
- Support Founders Office team in executing various strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current student at a reputable university, pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics or a related field.
- Candidates who can commit full-time (LOA) for at least 4-6 months will be prioritized.
- Hands-on experience in financial modelling (school project or internship) is a must.
- Previous internship experience in a B2B/SaaS startup or an investment firm is a plus.
- Keen interest in startups, venture capital, and private capital markets at large.
- Excellent communication skills (English), both written and verbal.
- Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to take on challenging tasks.
- Strong time management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
