The Finalyst Program (TFP) is a 24-months graduate program, where talents are invited to discover whether they have the determination to develop a life-long career in Finance and the Life Science sector, with the market leader in serving science. Successful applicants are carefully selected, consciously mapped, and assigned to various Finance roles over the 24-month fixed term hire period, doing real and impactful business and finance work, giving significantly to the success of Thermo Fisher Scientific.

The program offers 6 months rotation to provide candidates with diverse exposure within finance organizations.

Position Summary:

This is a hands-on position responsible for consolidation of Revenue forecasts for all Geos in the APJ region. This individual must possess the ability to work independently in a matrix environment. Strong financial system knowledge, excellent communication competency with FP&A are key success factors for this role.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare CLT submission / monthly and quarterly business review packages accurately and timely for leadership review
  • Publish PLN revenue & bookings E2E reports for APJ countries
  • Prepare annual operating plan (AOP) consolidation of key financial indicators and presentation materials
  • Standardize and develop templates that are aligned with Corporate templates for business review / AOP / STRAP
  • Collaborate with Country FP&A leads to ensure accurate and timely submission of each reporting
  • Support ad-hoc Assignments

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in accountancy, Finance or equivalent
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in financial systems and reporting in an MNC environment.
  • Applied knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning, etc.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal competency
  • Self-motivated, meticulous and hands on nature
  • Ability to work in a matrix and fast paced environment, with defined timelines
