We're looking for a handson Cost Analyst to support our growing Finance function. This role focuses on COGS analysis and partnering closely with Production and Procurement to drive cost control and margin improvement.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead cost accounting and monthly variance analysis (material, labor, overhead).
- Analyze production cost trends and key KPIs to identify cost drivers, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation, cost flow through COGS, and perform standard cost reviews.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, GP analysis, and financial modeling for manufacturingrelated decisions.
- Improve ERP costing processes, BOM accuracy, and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with cost accounting standards and support audits.
- Provide cost insights for tenders, CapEx, and strategic decisions (e.g., makevsbuy).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (CMA/CPA a plus).
- 35 years experience in cost analysis or management accounting, ideally in manufacturing.
- Strong ERP costing knowledge (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Analytical, detailoriented, and able to translate financial insights into clear recommendations.
- Strong communicator and crossfunctional collaborator.
