Job Description:
We are seeking a Contract Senior Financial Analyst to partner closely with Front End (FE) Operations leaders to drive cost transparency, planning accuracy, and process improvement through automation, workflow redesign, and AI enabled productivity.
This contract role is focused on hands on execution. You will work closely with FE Operation, IT, and Finance teams to deliver automation solutions, enhance analytics, and support scalable, well governed finance processes in a high volume manufacturing environment. The role is ideal for someone who can quickly ramp up, deliver tangible improvements, and reduce manual effort across FE finance workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Support FE Operations Finance processes across costing, forecasting, and performance reporting, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and scalability.
- Execute process improvement and automation initiatives to reduce manual effort in data consolidation, variance analysis, and recurring reporting within the contract period.
- Leverage analytics and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) to maintain and enhance dashboards that enable standardized, self service reporting for FE stakeholders.
- Apply AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to accelerate data analysis, variance investigation, documentation, and preparation of management summaries, while validating outputs for accuracy and governance.
- Support standard costing and variance analysis, improving transparency and explainability of key cost drivers (e.g., volume, yield, labor, overhead).
- Assist planning and forecasting cycles by preparing inputs, consolidations, and clear variance narratives for review.
- Collaborate with Operations, IT, and Finance partners to deliver agreed analytics and process enhancements within defined scope and timelines.
- Maintain process documentation, metric definitions, and controls, ensuring work delivered during the contract is sustainable and well documented for transition.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
- 5–7 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in:
- Manufacturing, semiconductor, or operations focused environments
- Cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, or financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
- Prior contract or project based role experience is preferred, with ability to ramp up quickly
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong foundation in financial analysis, including:
- Cost tracking, variance analysis, and trend analysis within a manufacturing environment
- Hands‑on experience with financial systems and data tools, such as:
- Advanced Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, working with large datasets)
- ERP and finance reporting systems (e.g., SAP, TM1, Power BI, or equivalent)
- Ability to work effectively with standard cost, budget, and forecast data, understanding key manufacturing cost drivers
- Comfortable supporting month‑end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and data validation
- Strong experience across data analytics, data engineering, business intelligence and machine learning
- Exposure to using digital or AI‑enabled productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to improve analysis efficiency, documentation, and reporting, with appropriate validation of outputs
