A leading organisation within the FMCG is seeking a commercially focused finance professional to drive business performance through financial insights, planning, and cross-functional collaboration. This role plays a key part in supporting decision-making, improving cost efficiency, and enhancing overall profitability.
Key Responsibilities
. Lead month-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting with a focus on operating expenses, accruals, and capital investments
. Deliver high-quality management reporting, including variance analysis, key performance metrics, and actionable insights to support business performance
. Partner closely with Commercial, HR, and operations teams to align financial plans with business strategies and identify opportunities for margin improvement
. Drive budgeting and forecasting processes, including performance reviews and scenario analysis to support strategic planning
. Develop financial models and business cases for key initiatives such as pricing, cost optimisation, and investment decisions
. Support governance, audit, and compliance processes while driving continuous improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities
Requirements
. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline professional qualifications (e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA) are advantageous
. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or business partnering roles, preferably within FMCG or consumer-driven environments
. Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities, with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights
. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems and reporting tools (e.g. SAP, Hyperion, Power BI or similar)
. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders
. Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
