Job Requirements
Waters has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Financial Analyst to join our team focused on supporting the newly created Biologics Business Unit. This new business unit has a global presence which combines both R&D capabilities and a dedicated Go-To-Market team. This team is focused on delivering above market growth and continuing to solve problems that matter for our customers. The Principal Financial Analyst will report to the Finance Director, Biologics Business Unit. This position will partner closely with both R&D leaders and Sales & Marketing team to drive accelerating performance.
Act as the primary finance business partner to both the R&D and Sales teams which may include financial modeling and benchmarking, executive reporting of key performance indicators and communicating a cohesive and concise story around business drivers behind financial data and potential implications of future results.
Act as the finance point-of-contact for both the annual strategic planning process and the annual AOP planning process. This role will be the primary contactsupporting these processes through business partnering, financial/business case modeling and communicating. The role will be responsible to define financial targets for the business using key business assumptions while developing thoughtful methodologies and applying financial rigor throughout the process.
Act as the primary finance contact with cross-functional teams on major company initiatives and provide value-added financial analysis and support of business reviews and decisions from the financial perspective, including but not limited to, operational efficiency, KPIs, business cases, etc This person may be asked to support workstreams that span across multiple business segments.
Assist with month-end close process including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and various analyses. Provide any Ad hoc financial analysis upon request.
