As a Financial Adviser, you will help individuals and families make informed financial decisions by understanding their goals and providing suitable financial planning solutions.
This role combines financial advisory, relationship management, and client servicing. You will receive structured training and mentorship to develop the skills required to build a successful career in financial services.
Roles & Responsibilities
Client Advisory & Financial Planning
- Understand clients financial goals, priorities, and concerns through detailed financial reviews.
- Provide personalised financial planning and insurance advisory solutions based on clients needs.
- Recommend suitable financial solutions including protection, savings, retirement planning, and investment strategies.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews to ensure clients financial plans remain relevant as their circumstances change.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with individuals and families.
- Provide ongoing support for policy servicing, reviews, and claims assistance.
- Deliver professional and responsive client service throughout the customer journey.
Business Development
- Develop and grow your client portfolio through different channels, networking, referrals, and lead support.
- Build professional relationships and expand your network over time.
- Manage your own client engagement activities and business growth.
Professional Development
- Stay updated on financial market trends, product knowledge, and regulatory requirements.
- Complete and maintain relevant industry certifications required under MAS regulations.
- Continuously develop advisory, communication, and business skills.
Requirements
- Singapore Citizen / Permanent Resident (regulatory requirement)
- Diploma / Degree holders preferred
- CMFAS certifications (M5, M9, M9A, HI etc.) or willingness to obtain them
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Client-focused mindset with the ability to build trust and relationships
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and willing to learn
- Able to work independently while contributing within a team environment
Prior experience in financial services is not required. Training and guidance will be provided.
