Our client, a leading US manufacturing MNC, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its finance team. The role covers full-spectrum accounting, ensuring strong financial controls, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting both Singapore and regional finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and month-end closing activities.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, intercompany reconciliations, and supporting schedules in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST filings, tax computations, and regulatory reporting.
- Manage government grant applications, tracking, and related reporting requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and internal stakeholders for audit and reporting purposes.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of finance operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with CA/CPA qualification preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience handling a full set of accounts, ideally within an MNC environment.
- Strong knowledge of GST, tax compliance, and financial reporting processes.
- Familiarity with US GAAP and SFRS will be advantageous.
