What you'll do

Book keeping:

  • Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing processes for the EU entity.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS/local GAAP.
  • Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare management reports, variance analyses, and financial KPIs.
  • Coordinate with group finance on consolidation and intercompany transactions.

Regulatory & Statutory Compliance:

  • Ensures compliance with EU company law, accounting standards, and reporting obligations.
  • Coordinate statutory filings, annual returns, and corporate secretarial matters (if needed).

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and tax, ideally within an EU jurisdiction.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a multinational or cross-border environment.
  • Prior involvement in EU statutory audits inspections.
