Your Function
As a Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance Manager and Financial Controller by delivering both operational and functional assistance. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and posting of accounting journals for both accounts receivable and payables, performing bank reconciliations and managing payment processing activities for Singapore and Hong Kong, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with financial protocols.

Day To Day
- Accurately post journal entries into Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, maintaining compliance with internal accounting standards and timelines
- Facilitate payment processing to vendors, suppliers, and financial institutions via multiple banking platforms, including OCBC and Standard Chartered Bank
- Partner with local Operations, Finance, and Sales teams to streamline fund transfers and journal entries, ensuring operational efficiency
- Conduct thorough reconciliation of bank accounts, identifying and resolving any data discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy and completeness
- Contribute to month-end closing activities by investigating reconciliation variances and supporting financial reporting requirements where applicable
- Oversee the Singapore Accounts Payable mailbox, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and maintaining clear, professional communication
- Proven ability to thrive in high-volume environments; experience in leasing or banking is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused approach.
- Skilled in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Detail-oriented with solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Highly organized, able to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Works independently with minimal supervision.
- Sound understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Prior experience in financial services or transaction-heavy roles is preferred.
