Finance Temporary Assistant (Banking)

About Company:

Our Client, a very well established first bank formed in 1946 and owned by the Indonesia Government. In Singapore, they are located within the heart of Singapore's central business district, is the only Indonesian Bank to hold a Full-Bank license in Singapore.

Job Description:

- Prepare and review regulatory reports in compliance with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and Head Office requirements

- Prepare and manage bank reports and follow up on revisions as required by Head Office

- Monitor and calculate key regulatory metrics, ensuring accuracy and compliance

- Ensure timely submission of reports to MAS and Head Office

- Post monthly journal entries, including adjustments and accruals, maintaining general ledger integrity

Job Requirements:

- Preferably bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field

- No experience are welcome to apply

- Candidates with at least 1-3 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services will have an advantage

- Basic understanding or MAS reporting and IFRS standards (IFRS 109 & 116) is preferred

- Strong interest in financial reporting and accounting operations

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel

- Detail oriented, analytical and able to meet deadlines

- Able to work independently as well as in a team

Compensation:

- Working location: Central

- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm

- Temporary period of 3 - 6 months
