Role Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber Finance Supervisor to lead our global accounting operations while serving as a strategic partner to the business. This role goes beyond traditional bookkeeping. You will be responsible for complex revenue recognition, driving data-led financial analysis, and partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize our financial performance across our entities in Singapore, HK, China, the UK, and the US.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Group Accounting & Complex Revenue Management (Core)
- Responsible for accounting and bookkeeping for the group and its subsidiaries in Hong Kong, Singapore, Mainland China, the UK and the US.
- Lead the calculation and recognition of revenue for main business lines, ensuring compliance with IFRS 15/ ASC 606 (especially for Fintech/Platform transactions).
- Monitor costs/expenses, journal entry booking, ledger reconciliation, and manage month-end/year-end closing efficiently.
- Ensure all accounting practices strictly comply with international accounting standards and company financial policies.
2. Financial Reporting & Group Consolidation
- Complete group consolidated financial statements, including internal transaction elimination and consolidation adjustments.
- Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for multi-entity structures.
- Complete timely financial reporting and analysis to support management decisions.
- Assist and cooperate with statutory auditors, prepare and provide relevant financial materials, and follow up on audit issue rectification, ensure audit reports are issued on time.
3. Regional Tax Compliance (China & Global)
- Responsible for routine tax filings for Mainland China subsidiaries (including but not limited to VAT, stamp duty, corporate income tax etc.), tax calculations, and tax ledger management.
- Coordinate with tax authorities and auditors to control global tax risks and ensure compliance in each jurisdiction.
4. Finance Business Partnering (BP) & Support
- Act as a bridge between finance and business teams (Sales/Ops/Product) to support with enquiries from different departments across various regions. Provide financial validation and advisory for new business initiatives or regional expansions.
- Proactively identify gaps in financial processes and internal controls, proposing and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Perform other tasks assigned by bosses.
5. FP&A & Data-Driven Analysis
- Perform deep-dive analysis on financial reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support management decisions.
- Support budget execution and conduct monthly variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget) to ensure cost control.
- Utilize Power Query, Excel, or BI tools to automate data processing and create scalable financial dashboards for the management team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above; major in accounting, finance, audit, or related fields preferred.
- Fluent in English, able to work in English and communicate with colleagues in Hong Kong, Singapore, the UK, and the US.
- CPA / ACCA / CA Singapore qualification is highly preferred.
- Proficient in using financial software (e.g., Kingdee) , Excel, Power Query etc..
- Strong data analysis skills.
- 3-6 years of relevant finance experience; experience in Big Four or Fintech companies preferred.
- Experience in handling group company or multi-entity accounting preferred.
- Familiar with accounting standards and relevant tax regulations.
- Ability to independently handle full-set accounts and financial statement preparation preferred.
- Experience in dealing with external audits and group consolidation.
- Detail-oriented, rigorous, and responsible.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
- High professional ethics and strong confidentiality awareness.
This position is also open to candidates in Shenzhen, China, who will be based at our Shenzhen office upon joining.
