The Opportunity:

Paula's Choice Singapore SEA is seeking to hire a passionate and self-motivated Finance Specialist SEA. S/he will report to the Senior Finance Manager Southeast Asia and will be responsible for the full finance operations of the SEA region. Roles and responsibilities can be found in the sections below.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end finance operations across AP, AR and GL, including inventory accounting with support from third-party accountants where applicable.
  • Ensure timely closing of month-end and year-end activities, including review of journal entries, and key accounting estimates.
  • Responsible for processing of local and overseas payment.
  • Collaborate with operations team on inventory-related matter.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders on expense-related issues and reconciliation.
  • Assist SFM in reviewing of P&L and B&S and handling of annual statutory audit, Income Tax, quarterly GST and withholding Tax filing.
  • Able to work closely with third-party accountants on all accounting related matters.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implemented efficiency enhancements.
  • Ensure proper internal controls are established, maintained and adhered to.
  • Assist in the implementation of new processes and system when required.
  • Perform ad hoc duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Degree in Accountancy with minimum 3-5 years working experience on full sets accounting operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Oracle NetSuite is an added advantage
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Adaptable and open-minded, with an agile approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholders.
  • Hands-on and operationally driven, with a keen eye for accuracy and detail
  • Experience in inventory closing will be a good to have.
  • Exposure to P&L management within the APAC region is an added advantage.
