In this Role, you'll get to
* Review and process supplier invoices and staff claims to ensure accurate GST reporting and regulatory compliance.
* Prepare and issue tax invoices in accordance with GST and industry requirements.
* Prepare and submit quarterly GST reports to IRAS.
* Process and reconcile customer payments, ensuring timely and accurate transaction recording.
* Process expense claims and vendor payments.
* Assist in month-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for seven entities.
* Reconcile bank accounts, intercompany transactions, accruals, prepayments, and expenses.
* Prepare monthly accounting schedules and payroll-related entries.
* Maintain and update the fixed asset register.
* Support external audits and taxation matters as required.
* Manage incoming mail and route it promptly to the appropriate personnel.
* Perform other duties as assigned to support the department's operational needs.
What you'll Need to Succeed
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (diploma holders with relevant experience are welcome to apply).
* 2 years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance; exposure to GST reporting and reconciliations is an advantage, but not mandatory.
* Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization in handling multiple entities and deadlines.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel
* Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn, take initiative, and continuously improve.
* Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Good communication skills and willingness to ask questions or seek clarification when needed.
* Open to candidates who may not meet all requirements but demonstrate eagerness, adaptability, and commitment to grow with the company.
