We are partnering with MNC manufacturing client to hire a senior finance professional for 2 years contract role based in Singapore.
This role operates in a review and oversight capacity, acting as a key gatekeeper to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of finance processes and outputs. It is an individual contributor role with no team management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities
- Perform in-depth review of financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules
- Act as a gatekeeper for financial integrity, ensuring adherence to internal controls and policies
- Ensure compliance with Singapore statutory and audit requirements, including coordination with external auditors and advisors
- Provide oversight of finance operations processes, identifying control gaps and driving improvements
- Partner with stakeholders on intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Support cross-border and transfer pricing matters
- Drive process improvements, standardisation, and governance enhancements
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Professional qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA) preferred
- 10-20 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or finance
- Strong experience in financial reporting, closing, and statutory compliance
- Solid knowledge of Singapore financial reporting standards IFRS and regulatory requirements
- Prior exposure to reviewing, approving, or governing finance processes
- Experience in MNC manufacturing environment preferred
- Comfortable operating in a hands-off, oversight and governance-focused role
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
