Job Summary
The Finance Project Management Intern will support the finance core team to coordinate end-to-end financial project execution, assist with cross departmental alignment between finance, business, operation and tech teams, collect financial data, track project budget & cost control, and compile regular project financial reports to ensure finance related projects deliver on schedule and within approved budget.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist Finance PM to arrange weekly project meetings, draft meeting agendas, take detailed meeting minutes, follow up action items and track implementation progress across teams.
2. Collect, sort and verify project-related financial data including budget consumption, expense reconciliation, capital expenditure records, update project cost tracking spreadsheets regularly.
3. Support monthly/quarterly financial project reporting: compile project financial dashboards, sort supporting vouchers, analyze budget vs actual variance under mentor's guidance.
4. Coordinate cross-functional communication: liaise with business and technology to collect required financial documents, resolve routine document submission delays.
5. Help organize project contract filing, classify finance archives, sort invoice and reimbursement paperwork in line with company finance compliance rules.
6. Ad-hoc finance and project administrative tasks assigned by Finance Project Manager.
Job Requirements
1. Undergraduate or postgraduate student majoring in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Project Management or related fields; available full-time for internship at least 3-6 months.
2. Basic knowledge of corporate finance concepts (budgeting, cost control, AP/AR preferred); familiar with Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, data sorting).
3. Detail-oriented, strong sense of data accuracy, able to multitask and follow tight project deadlines.
