Role Overview
The Finance Product Manager owns the strategy, roadmap, and execution of finance-related products and internal financial platforms across the company. This role focuses on improving financial operations, reconciliation, treasury management, accounting automation, reporting, settlement, and financial controls while ensuring scalability, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate combines strong product management experience with a deep understanding of finance processes, payment operations, accounting systems, and financial data.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Ownership
- Define and own the product roadmap for finance platforms and internal financial systems.
- Identify opportunities to automate finance and treasury processes.
- Translate business and finance requirements into scalable product solutions.
- Prioritize product initiatives based on business impact, compliance requirements, and operational efficiency.
- Develop product vision aligned with MetaComp's growth strategy.
Finance Operations
Design and enhance products supporting:
- Payment reconciliation
- Bank reconciliation
- Wallet reconciliation
- Merchant settlement
- Revenue recognition
- Fee calculation engines
- Multi-currency accounting
- Treasury management
- Internal fund transfers
- Financial reporting
- Cash flow visibility
- Daily financial operations
Accounting & ERP Integration
Work closely with Finance to improve integration between operational systems and finance platforms, including:
- ERP systems
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Fixed Assets
- Expense Management
- Journal automation
- Financial close processes
Treasury & Liquidity Management
Partner with Treasury teams to build products supporting:
- Cash positioning
- Liquidity forecasting
- Multi-bank connectivity
- Virtual accounts
- Fund transfers
- FX settlements
- Stablecoin settlements
- Treasury dashboards
- Working capital optimization
Product Delivery
- Gather requirements from Finance, Treasury, Operations, Compliance, and Business teams.
- Create Product Requirement Documents (PRDs).
- Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Engineering and Design throughout the development lifecycle.
- Drive sprint planning, backlog prioritization, UAT, and product launches.
- Monitor product performance and continuously improve user experience.
Data & Reporting
Develop finance analytics capabilities including:
- Financial dashboards

Risk & Compliance

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- CPA, ACCA, CFA, or MBA is advantageous.
- 5–8+ years of Product Management experience.
- Experience building finance, payments, treasury, or accounting products.
- Experience in fintech, payments, banking, digital assets, or financial services is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of finance operations and accounting workflows.
- Experience working with ERP or accounting platforms is advantageous.
- Experience working in Agile product environments.
