This position manages end-to-end credit risk evaluation, revenue recovery, customer query resolution, and external service vendor oversight while optimizing financial workflows through modern AI and automation tools.
Job Responsibilities
- Account & Credit Portfolio Management
- Evaluate and approve credit line requests and new account applications for regional monthly invoicing clients, assessing financial statements and operational risk profiles.
- Direct collection initiatives, follow up on outstanding balances, and track remittance documentation for dedicated regional portfolios.
- Facilitate dispute resolution across internal cross-functional partners and external enterprise clients.
- Validate and execute credit/debit adjustments, credit memos, write-offs, and balance adjustments in accordance with internal governance protocols.
- Oversee invoice generation, statement distribution, and account reconciliations based on business-unit demands.
- Operational Compliance & Outsourcing Governance
- Execute daily workflows strictly aligned with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Desktop Procedures (DTPs).
- Partner with offshore collection teams to meet target recovery KPIs (e.g., aging buckets, cash velocity metrics) through clear alignment and tactical support.
- Audit daily cash allocation processes executed by third-party vendor teams to guarantee precision.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field with strong academic standing.
- 3-5+ years in Accounts Receivable, Credit Assessment, and Collections within a global enterprise environment.
- Professional proficiency in Business Japanese (written and spoken, JLPT N2/N1 equivalent) to effectively manage Japanese enterprise accounts, resolve billing inquiries, and negotiate collections.
- Demonstrated history of re-engineering, streamlining, and automating financial workflows hands-on experience leveraging AI applications to accelerate operations is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in financial statement analysis, modern office productivity suites (spreadsheets, document tools), and enterprise AI applications (e.g., LLMs, automated prompts, workflow tools).
