The Job
- Support the monthly financial book close in line with group financial reporting and local regulatory reporting timeline for Finance Operations with principal areas covering distribution, health, and fixed asset-related process.
- Support daily monitoring of batch run from Distribution Management System (DMS) and promptly managing any remediation actions of any exemptions.
- Support Distribution team with monthly schedules and aging schedules.
- Support the product development team and system Day2 IT change request activities as the main finance subject matter expert (SME).
- Work with the Distribution function [Distribution Support Services (DSS) and Distribution Performance Management (DPM)] to ensure correct booking align to the production period and insurance fund.
- Support in managing the end user computing (EUC) controls for Finance Operations.
- Commission and Distribution accounts related Balance sheet substantiation and reconciliation support to distribution team
The Talent
- Degree in accounting and finance
- Part / full Perfectional qualification in accounting and finance
- 2-3 years experience in finance operations preferably in Life insurance industry
- Prior experience in managing insurance commission & distribution cost booking will be advantageous.
- Ability to adapt to the current GL and policy admin system and operational simplifications using Alteryx , Power builder and AI will be an added advantage.
