Position Overview: A finance operations role supporting cloud programme financial management, reporting, and operational analysis.
Operational Focus: Ensures accurate tracking, reconciliation, and analysis of cloud-related revenue and costs across operational and financial systems.
Work Environment: Fast-paced and data-driven environment requiring collaboration across finance and programme teams.
Stakeholder Interaction: Works closely with Finance Business Partners, cloud programme teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to support finance operations and reporting.
Finance Operations Management:
Support and improve end-to-end finance operations processes for the cloud programme.
Financial Reconciliation & Analysis:
Ensure alignment between operational data from Cloud Management Portal (CMP) and financial data from Workday.
Cost Tracking & Segregation:
Develop processes to identify and separate cloud hosting and operational cost components.
Database & Reporting Support:
Build and maintain databases in Databricks to support revenue and cost tracking.
Data Analysis & Problem Solving:
Analyse financial and operational data to identify gaps, recommend improvements, and support decision-making.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work with finance and programme teams to provide accurate revenue and cost breakdowns.
Project & Operational Support:
Support ongoing finance operations issues and participate in additional finance-related projects.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in accounting, finance operations, or business analysis.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with reporting and dashboard tools such as Power Pivot, Power Query, or Tableau
Familiarity with Workday or similar ERP systems is advantageous
Core Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Comfortable handling large datasets and operational tasks under tight timelines
Strong attention to detail and process improvement mindset
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Able to work independently in fast-paced and evolving environments
