Job Description
Brief Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented finance professional to spearhead treasury functions, drive M&A initiatives, and ensure compliance with corporate governance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial analysis and valuation within dynamic environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage group-level cash flow, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization across various portfolios. Develop and implement effective hedging strategies for currency and interest rate risks using financial instruments such as Interest Rate Swaps and Forwards. Lead treasury forecasting, conducting sensitivity analyses on interest rates and foreign exchange fluctuations. Oversee debt financing, negotiate with financial institutions, and optimize capital structures to reduce the Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC). Conduct complex company and asset valuations, including DCF and comparable analysis, for real estate assets and corporate entities. Direct M&A processes from initial pipeline development through due diligence and negotiation phases. Build and maintain financial models to facilitate the evaluation of acquisition and divestment opportunities. Ensure compliance with the Singapore Code on Take-overs and Mergers for all relevant transactions. Act as the internal expert on compliance with the SGX Rulebook and related listing obligations. Optimize the group's tax position by managing both direct and indirect tax responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Real Estate. CFA/CA/ACCA or equivalent professional certification is strongly preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or treasury, focusing on the Real Estate sector. Proven track record with the SGX Listing Manual and the Singapore Code on Take-overs and Mergers. In-depth knowledge of corporate valuation methodologies and real estate asset modeling. Demonstrated expertise in interest rate and foreign exchange hedging strategies. Strong understanding of direct and indirect tax regimes as they pertain to real estate investments.
