Finance Manager

Job Descriptions:

• Manage the accounts function, ensuring all accounting procedures comply with accounting principles and standards.

• Ensure timely and accurate capture of revenue and expenses, and posting in the accounting system.

• Prepare and reconcile all assets and liabilities accounts, including accruals.

• Review and analyze project performance against budget and update management accordingly.

• Ensure timely collection of accounts receivable and follow up on late payments.

• Ensure timely payment of accounts payable and reimbursements in accordance with company policies.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L and balance sheet.

• Ensure all accounting books, ledgers, and asset registers are maintained accurately.

• Monitor and reconcile all bank accounts on a timely basis.

• Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and ensure positive cash flow.

• Follow through with various parties to reconcile differences for accurate reporting.

• Ensure taxation submissions are completed on time and assist in tax planning and computations.

• Assist with intercompany accounts reconciliation and perform duties for overseas subsidiaries.

• Prepare management report to shareholders

• Lead, mentor, and coach finance team members, reviewing their work to correct errors or discrepancies.

• Motivate employees to promote performance and teamwork within the department.

• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with all regulations.

• Handle auditor and tax matters

• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA) preferred.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.

• Experience in cash flow management, budgeting, and financial analysis.

• Proven leadership and team management skills.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Prior experience in construction/building/fit-out materials industry preferred
