Position Summary
We are seeking an experiencedfinance leader with a background in the software industryto oversee and drive the financial strategy, governance, and operations of the organization. The ideal candidate is a seasoned finance professional with strong technical expertise, proven leadership at the Finance Director or Controller level, and recognized accounting certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA in Singapore).
Experience withSGX-listed companies or exposure to listing requirementsand familiarity withbusiness intelligence toolsare advantageous. This role will be pivotal in ensuring financial integrity, strengthening internal controls, and enabling data-driven decision-making to support the company's growth and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Provide strategic direction and oversight of all financial functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Advise senior management and the board on financial planning, capital structure, and risk management.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate, timely financial statements in compliance with statutory and regulatory standards.
- Manage audits, taxation, and corporate governance processes with a strong focus on accountability and transparency.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to support business growth and profitability.
- Deliver insights and financial analysis to guide key decisions and evaluate performance.
Risk Management & Internal Controls
- Develop and implement robust internal controls, policies, and risk management frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with evolving accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Process Excellence & Digital Transformation
- Drive finance process improvement and automation using ERP systems and modern financial tools.
- Leveragebusiness intelligence solutions (e.g., Power BI)to enhance financial visibility and support informed strategic planning.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the finance team to achieve excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to support business growth and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, CA Singapore, or equivalent).
- Minimum 10 years of senior finance leadership experience (Finance Director, Controller, or equivalent).
- Background in the software or technology industry is required.
- Experience withSGX-listed companies or exposure to listing requirementsis a plus.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Navision, Oracle NetSuite).
- Familiarity withbusiness intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI)is advantageous.
