About the Role
We are looking for a commercial, data-driven, and forward-thinking Finance Manager / Senior Finance Manager. This role balances strategic business partnering with driving change, acting as the primary financial advisor to regional business heads while leading local finance transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will move beyond traditional accounting, using data analytics and process automation to optimize business performance and modernize our finance workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Partnering: Act as the primary finance contact for regional business heads, translating financial data into strategic recommendations to drive revenue and cost optimization.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead the regional budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across multiple countries or business units.
- Finance Transformation Leadership: Lead local and regional finance transformation projects, including system migrations, process automation (RPA), and the re-engineering of workflows to eliminate manual reporting.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), gross margins, operational variances, and investment returns (ROI).
- Management Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting packs, presenting financial performance trends and variances directly to leadership.
- Commercial Decision Support: Evaluate pricing strategies, regional contract proposals, business cases, and capital expenditure (CapEx) requests.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Core Accounting/Shared Services team to ensure accurate data flow between actual financials and FP&A models.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a professional certification (e.g., CIMA, CFA, CPA, CA).
- Experience: At least 6 to 8 years of post-qualification experience, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to commercial finance, FP&A, business partnering, or finance change roles. Supervisory role and generalist skillsets are a plus.
- Industry Context: Experience handling multi-country or regional portfolios with exposure to complex commercial structures.
- Data, AI, & BI Tools: Proficiency in data visualization, AI, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and financial modeling in Microsoft Excel.
- Systems & Automation: Direct experience with enterprise ERP (e.g. Netsuite, Oracle) and familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, RPA).
- Candidates with more extensive experience will be considered for the Senior Finance Manager title. There are opportunities for the role to develop all-rounded generalist skills across the broader Finance function
