Finance Manager – Private Equity Real Estate

As RealVantage scales, the firm continues to build institutional-grade infrastructure, governance, and financial processes to support long-term growth. The Finance Manager will play a key role in supporting and executing this build-out.
Role Overview
The Assistant Manager/Finance Manager will support the finance function across funds, SPVs, and corporate entities, ensuring robust financial reporting, controls, and operational efficiency. This role is hands-on, detail-oriented, and execution-focused, with exposure to fund structures, cross-border investments, and institutional reporting standards.
The role works closely with internal teams including investments and operations, as well as external stakeholders such as auditors, fund administrators, and tax advisors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & Control
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across corporate entities, funds, and SPVs
- Prepare and review financial statements, ACRA filing, management reports, escrow reconciliation and supporting schedules
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of financial reporting across jurisdictions
- Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and reporting processes
2. Fund Finance & Transaction Support
- Support finance and accounting across RealVantage funds and SPVs
- Work with fund administrators to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Work with the investment team to support financial due diligence, including review of financial models and funding structures
- Coordinate with banks, lenders, and external advisors on financing and execution matters
3. Treasury & Cash Management
- Support group-level cash flow monitoring and liquidity management including intercompany transfers
- Assist in managing banking relationships and payment processes
- Monitor foreign exchange exposures and support hedging execution where required
4. Audit, Tax & Compliance
- Coordinate audits across entities and liaise with external auditors
- Support tax filings and work with tax advisors on compliance matters
- Ensure adherence to MAS regulations and applicable regulatory frameworks
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails across all financial activities
5. Process Improvement & Systems
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, controls, and workflows
- Support automation initiatives and enhancement of finance systems
- Contribute to building scalable finance infrastructure to support growth
6. Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including investment, operations, legal and management teams
- Liaise with external parties such as fund administrators, auditors, tax advisors, and banks
- Support preparation of materials for management and investor reporting where required
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Professional qualification preferred (CA, CPA, ACCA)
- 5–10 years experience in private equity, real estate, fund management, or audit
- Familiarity with fund structures, SPVs, and cross-border investments is advantageous
- Experience with IFRS (and/or US GAAP) preferred
