Job Description

We are partnering with a reputable real estate investment platform to appoint a Finance Manager. This is a broad finance position offering exposure across financial reporting, business partnering, governance and strategic finance, with opportunities to work closely with senior stakeholders and external stakeholders on operational, corporate and capital-related initiatives.

Financial Reporting & Control
  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Prepare management reports, financial statements and financial analysis to support business performance reviews and strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate periodic external reporting and ensure timely submission of statutory and market reporting requirements.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations, journals, cash flow forecasts and key finance processes.
  • Ensure strong financial controls and adherence to internal policies and approval frameworks.
Planning & Business Support
  • Coordinate the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasts and financial planning activities.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions, investment evaluations and operational performance.
  • Support treasury-related matters, including cash management, financing activities and capital planning where required.
  • Partner with senior management on strategic initiatives, including potential fundraising, financing and corporate development activities.
Governance, Compliance & Risk
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), relevant tax regulations and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Support compliance with SGX listing rules and industry-specific reporting obligations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, investors, financial institutions and other professional advisors during audits, reporting and corporate exercises.
  • Support enterprise risk management initiatives, including maintaining risk registers and monitoring key control measures.
  • Assist with corporate governance and statutory administration matters.
Projects & Continuous Improvement
  • Participate in finance transformation and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support sustainability reporting and other cross-functional corporate projects.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new finance policies, systems or reporting requirements as the business evolves.
Team & Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across finance and business functions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, professional advisors and strategic partners.
  • Support investor engagement activities by providing financial insights, performance updates and relevant analysis to facilitate informed discussions.
  • Act as a trusted finance partner to senior stakeholders, with the ability to communicate financial performance and business outlook effectively.
  • Mentor junior finance team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline. Professional accounting qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant finance experience, preferably within real estate, listed entities, REITs, property investment or asset management.
  • Hands-on experience in SGX reporting and a sound understanding of the regulatory framework governing listed entities and/or REITs.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with hands-on experience in financial reporting and group consolidation.
  • Good understanding of financial governance, compliance and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Experience engaging with external stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, shareholders or professional advisors, would be advantageous.
  • Exposure to fundraising, capital raising, financing activities, M&A or strategic investment initiatives would be highly valued.
  • Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to represent the finance function externally.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities independently.
