Job Responsibilities and Duties:
. Support management decision-making with in-depth business performance analyses.
. Partner with other department leads in cross-functional teams to execute initiatives and projects.
. Prepare monthly management reports and presentations (including financial and business performance analysis).
. Manage the daily operations of the finance department.
. Oversee the monthly closing of accounts and ensure timely preparation and submission of financial reports to management.
. Prepare and submit annual statutory accounts in compliance with statutory requirements.
. Prepare relevant financial reports and presentations for Annual General Meetings.
. Prepare quarterly GST returns and annual corporate tax filings.
. Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
. Liaise with external bankers, auditors, tax consultants and corporate secretarial service providers.
. Establish and ensure compliance with policies and internal controls.
. Assess current practices and processes, and make recommendations for corrections or improvements.
. Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
Skills and Qualifications:
. Degree in Accountancy, or its equivalent, with professional qualification (e.g. CPA, CA)
. More than 10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience
. Experience in managing a team of accounting personnel
. Possess exceptional business acumen
. Excellent organisational and leadership skills
. Good problem-solving, analytical and presentation skills
. Team player with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
. Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
. Knowledge of Xero accounting software and clinics/healthcare industry will be an advantage
