Job Summary

You will be accountable for management reporting and financial analysis for a regional portfolio. You will provide explanation of variances and key performance drivers, coordinate the consolidation of results across APAC for reporting purposes and monthly and quarterly business review presentations. You will participate in forecasting processes, and support in planning and implementing new business initiatives. You will craft and provide insightful analysis to support business unit leaders in identifying commercial and financial improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret financial and operational data to recommend actions that improve business performance and optimize resources
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to influence strategic business decisions and drive long-term value creation
- Lead cost analysis processes to identify productivity improvements and recommend optimization opportunities
- Reconcile financial transactions by verifying and correcting data to ensure accurate accounting and reporting
- Develop and implement automated financial solutions and processes to increase efficiency
- Coordinate consolidation of financial results across APAC for management reporting and business reviews
- Participate in forecasting and budgeting processes to support financial planning and new business initiatives
- Provide insightful variance explanations and identify key performance drivers to support business unit leaders
- Collaborate closely with Finance and HR leaders on budgeting and financial planning activities
- Serve as a trusted advisor by anticipating business questions and applying strong analytical skills to optimize investments and manage risks
- Integrate organizational strategy and brand priorities to recommend actionable solutions for business growth
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Detailed understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and statutory accounting principles
- Proven ability to manage high-volume P&L budgets in a matrix organization with agility (0-2 years experience or entry-level with relevant degree)
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with ability to conduct research and resolve complex issues independently
- High level of maturity, integrity, and discretion
- Effective communication skills with the ability to engage senior leadership
- CPA or MBA qualification
- Financial modeling expertise
- Experience in consumer goods industry and/or eCommerce/digital sectors
