Prepare sales and cost forecast, cashflow forecast, management accounts for individual business divisions
Prepare and ensure that submission of reports to the management is done on a timely basis
Oversee and monitor the Accounts Department:
Checking day to day work of Accounts team
Ensuring collections from customers are prompt and do not exceed credit limit
Ensuring payments for suppliers are prompt and do not exceed credit limit, including review of banking documents such as LC, TR, invoice financing etc.
Checking accuracy of accounting records
Review GST submissions
Review reports to ensure that stocks are moving
Liaise with Auditors, tax agent, company secretary and bankers
Assist CEOs and Financial Controller on any business projects
Requirements:
Degree in Accountancy or Finance and a Chartered Accountant with Postgraduate qualification or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of accounting and finance experience
Good knowledge and understanding of tax legislation
Good knowledge of Singapore Reporting Standards, Companies Act and other accounting regulatory requirements is highly essential
Knowledge and experience with internal control documentation
Excellent communication skills are a must for this role as is the ability to manage your time effectively and efficiently
Hands on approach, ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external parties
Well versed in MS Excel and spreadsheet techniques with exceptional numerical proficiency and experienced in financial modelling
Hands-on, analytical, meticulous, strong in processes and financial concept, problem solver
Possess a positive attitude, good leadership skills, interpersonal communication skills, independent and a team player
