Finance Manager
Our client from the manufacturing industry is looking for an experienced Finance Manager.
Responsibilities
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning in partnership with operations and commercial teams.
- Build financial models and analyses to support business performance and strategic decisions.
- Analyze production and operating costs to identify efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide insights on key operational metrics, inventory levels, and working capital.
- Partner with manufacturing and supply chain teams to improve cost control and profitability.
- Prepare management reports with clear variance analysis and business insights.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Support investment, pricing, and capacity-related decisions through financial evaluation.
- Conduct scenario and risk analysis to guide strategic planning.
- Coordinate with auditors and external advisors to ensure compliance.
- Act as a finance business partner to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Improve finance processes, reporting, and analytical tools on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related academic background.
- Relevant professional credentials (e.g. CPA, CMA, ACCA) are an added advantage.
- At least five years experience in financial planning, analysis, or comparable finance functions, preferably in a manufacturing or operations-driven environment.
- Strong grasp of cost structures, inventory flows, and end-to-end supply chain finance.
- Practical experience working with ERP platforms and advanced spreadsheet modelling.
- Exposure to reporting or analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau is beneficial.
