Lead and manage the accounting team in operational/financial matters and ensure proper and timely closure and consolidation of accounts, financial and management reports for companies within the group.
Cash flow management, analysis and projections.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, corporate policies and other regulatory requirements.
Ensure proper internal controls and risk management are in place and adhered to.
Liaise on all tax, treasury, accounting and reporting requirements.
Provide advice and support senior management on all financial issues, develop strategies and plans to meet all financial commitments.
Requirements:
A recognized degree or professional qualification in Finance/Accountancy or CPA
Minimum 6 years of related working experience.
Experience and knowledge of the shipping and offshore industry is preferred
Strong understanding of International Accounting Standards/Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
Practical experience in group consolidation accounting is preferred
Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 would be an advantage
Strong and independent analytical skills and with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
