. Financial Management & Reporting - Lead month-end and year-end closings, ensuring timely, accurate reporting aligned with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards. Oversee proper accounting for grants, donations, and fund utilisation.
. Controls & Compliance - Establish and strengthen financial policies, processes, and internal controls. Be the main liaison for internal and external audits, and drive continuous improvements in systems and workflows.
. Governance Support - Coordinate statutory filings, maintain records of board and committee meetings, and ensure adherence to governance and regulatory requirements.
. Stakeholder Partnership - Work closely with senior leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
. People Management - Providing guidance to a team of finance executives in reporting and responsible for their personal development
Requirements
. Degree in Accounting/Finance professional certification (CPA, ACA, or equivalent) highly preferred.
. 5-8 years of progressive experience in accounting and controllership, with at least 3years in a leadership role.
. Strong technical expertise in Singapore FRS, fund accounting, and grant reporting.
. Proven leadership in developing and mentoring finance teams and experience in systems enhancement would be essential
. Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
. High integrity, results-driven, and committed to continuous improvement.
