Finance Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the Finance & Controlling function. This role plays a critical part in ensuring strong financial governance, robust controlling, compliance with local regulations, and alignment with Group and Division Finance standards. The successful candidate will act as a trusted business partner to management, providing insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting + Controlling

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports by use of OneStream and comment results, outlook and actions on a monthly basis to Company Management and Division Controller respectively Divisional Manager

• Key user of ERP/Accounting System for financial and controlling processes

• Operational controlling, providing management accounts and other information by use of ERP System

• Support harmonization of management accounting and controlling instruments within the division

• Ensure financial planning (Mid-term-planning, budget, rolling forecasts) with the support of company management, in line with given deadlines andother instructions from Division and Group Finance

• Liaise with theexternal auditors and support implementation of improvements identified in Management Letter

Treasury

• Secure liquidity at any given time (and escalate to Division and Group Finance if required)

• Continuously monitorthe liquidity status and cash flow of the company to identify area of improvements

• Key contact related to bank and insurance topics

Statutory (SFRS) & Tax

• Ensure compliance with SFRS year-end reporting and new standards.

• Ensure full tax compliance

• Ensure transfer prices meet business and tax requirements and timely agree changes or new business cases with Division Controller and Group FC if needed.

ICS and Audit

• Secure Internal Control System (ICS) and promote improvements.

• Support internal and external audits.

Other tasks

• Contribution to achieve the strategic goals of the company by active controlling, ad-hoc analysis and proposals to the company and division management

• Consult General Manager in all financial matters

• Prepare investment requests and monitor financial execution of them

• Check of creditworthiness of customers and suppliers

Key Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent ACCA / CIMA preferred.

• Minimum 5 years experience in finance, accounting, and controlling preferably in an industrial, engineering, or project-based environment.

• Strong knowledge of SFRS statutory accounting and Singapore tax.

• Experience in management/industrial accounting and financial planning project controlling a plus

• Exposure to treasury and transfer pricing preferred

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) Power BI an advantage

• High level of integrity, independence, and attention to detail.
