Finance Manager (Life Sciences / Medical Devices)

We are partnering with a well-established Life Sciences & Medical Devices distributor with their headquarter based in Singapore. With close to five decades of experience, the company partners with leading global manufacturers to deliver end-to-end solutions spanning research, quality control, pharmaceutical production, clinical diagnostics, and patient care.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the full finance and accounting function, managing day-to-day financial operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The Finance Manager will handle the full set of accounts, including AP/AR, general ledger, cash flow management, month-end & year-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. The position also covers tax and statutory matters, stakeholder liaison with auditors and banks, sales commission calculations, and oversight of financial controls, while managing a small team and supporting the business with sound financial insights and governance.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is someone with at least 5 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, ideally within the Healthcare industry (Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Life Sciences, Biotechnology) or Industrial & Manufacturing industry. You will need to have at least 2 years of people management experience. Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance from a recognized university and professional qualification such as CPA / ACCA is required. You will also be required to be hands-on in handling full sets of accounts and strong knowledge of local tax & regulatory requirements.
