Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily financial operations, including accounting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
Prepare financial statements, management reports, and cash flow forecasts.
Monitor project costs, variance analysis, and overall project profitability.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.
Lead and coordinate annual audit processes, serving as the primary liaison with external auditors.
Liaise with auditors, banks, tax advisors, and relevant regulatory bodies.
Review GST submissions, tax computations, and corporate tax filings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff on accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Prepare and review year-end consolidation reports.
Ensure strict adherence to monthly and year-end closing schedules and the completeness of all submissions.
Handle other ad-hoc financial reporting tasks or duties assigned by Management.
Job Requirements
Degree in Accountancy or equivalent, with at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction industry.
Meticulous, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
