Finance Manager, Investment Management firm

This role will be responsible for overseeing fund accounting, investment reporting, and operational processes to support the firm's growing investment platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage fund accounting and administration activities, including NAV calculation and review.
• Perform reconciliation of cash balances, investment positions, and custodian statements to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
• Take ownership of monthly portfolio performance reporting and related investment analytics.
• Monitor and analyze investment performance, including portfolio returns, benchmark comparisons, and risk metrics.
• Prepare and present investment operations, performance, risk, and compliance reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reporting capabilities, and control frameworks.
• Maintain high standards of data quality, governance, and operational excellence across investment operations.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of statutory and regulatory reporting requirements, including GST filings and other financial reports.
• Support ongoing risk management initiatives and strengthen operational controls within the investment platform.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline with 5 to 10 years of work experience.
• Relevant experience in fund accounting, fund administration, investment operations, or performance reporting within asset management, wealth management, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of NAV processes, reconciliations, portfolio accounting, and investment reporting.
• Familiarity with regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.
