The Finance Manager (International) will be responsible for overseeing the financial management, reporting for our regional BUs. This role will partner closely with business leaders to support commercial decision-making while ensuring strong financial controls and compliance.
The ideal candidate would have a strong audit and consolidation background from a Big 4 firm, preferably combined with hands-on commercial finance experience in an international / regional role.
Responsibilities (Regional Business Units)
Financial Reporting
Monitor on timely financial closing and reporting
Review regional financial statements for accuracy and in accordance with respective GAAP
Financial analysis on variances against budget, forecast, and prior periods and provide clear explanations and insights to Senior Leadership
Review and resolve intercompany reconciliations for group consolidation
Budgeting
Drive the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting process
Monitor performance against budget and forecast
highlight risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions
Commercial Finance
Act as a finance business partner to regional BUs
Support pricing decisions, margin analysis, and key commercial initiatives
Monitor and review of asset utilization
Cashflow Management
Review and monitor the monthly cashflow projections
Monitor the weekly bank balance
Audit & Internal Control
Ensure strong internal controls and adherence to group policies and procedures across the region
Support internal control reviews and remediation plans where needed
Coordinate and manage external and internal audits
Act as key point of contact with auditors
Ensure timely completion of annual audit and to resolve any audit issues
Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and tax regulations
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
5 years relevant experience with at least 2 years as assistant audit manager of big 4 audit firms
Professional qualification (e.g. CPA, CA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Strong business acumen with the ability to link financial outcomes to operational drivers.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
High attention to detail combined with the ability to see the big picture.
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and integrity.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed, and multicultural environment.
Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills.
