Our client is a global private markets investment management firm with a long-standing presence globally. They are hiring a Finance Manager in Singapore to support the Group Holding Company and General Partner (GP) entities. This role sits within a lean finance team and works closely with senior stakeholders across regions.
Responsibilities of the Finance Manager – Global Investment Management Firm:
- Oversee group holding company and GP-level finance operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
- Prepare and review consolidated and statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Manage treasury activities including cash flow monitoring, intercompany funding, and liquidity planning
- Act as the key point of contact for external auditors and tax advisors; manage audit cycles and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables
- Support tax compliance matters including corporate income tax, withholding tax, and indirect taxes
- Provide finance support to investment activities, including due diligence, valuation support, and post-investment financial monitoring
- Drive process improvements, automation, and enhancements to internal controls and reporting frameworks
- Support senior management with ad-hoc analysis, board materials, and strategic finance projects
Requirements of the Finance Manager – Global Investment Management Firm:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
- Prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG) is advantageous
- 4 - 8 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or reporting roles
- Strong grounding in IFRS, financial reporting, budgeting, and audit management
- Prior experience within asset management, private equity, venture capital, investment firms, or group holding company environments is highly advantageous
- Ability to work independently in a lean, high-ownership environment
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred due to regional stakeholder interaction
