Our client is a Repair and Maintenance Industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for Finance Manager to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West - Tuas (Company Transport Provided)
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full spectrum of accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and review accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and statutory reports in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with management, including preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor actual financial performance against budget, conduct variance analysis, and provide meaningful financial insights to support decision-making.
- Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management, including bank accounts, cash management, financing arrangements, collections, and expenditure control.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including tax filings (GST, corporate tax) and other regulatory reporting.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and regulatory authorities, and manage the annual audit process, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, including at least 2-3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
