Finance Manager (first finance hire) - Series A SaaS startup

We're partnering with a fast-growing B2B SaaS company building AI-powered solutions for enterprise clients across financial services.

The company recently raised a Series A round from leading global investors and is scaling rapidly across APAC and Europe. Their platform is already used by major financial institutions and global enterprises, and they are now investing in building the internal infrastructure to support their next stage of growth. As part of this growth, they are hiring their first Finance Manager in Singapore.

The role:

This is a high-impact opportunity to build the finance function in a scaling SaaS company, working directly with the founders and leadership team.

You will initially focus on establishing strong financial processes, reporting, and operational discipline across the business. Over time, the role will evolve into broader financial planning and strategic finance responsibilities as the company continues to grow internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close, financial reporting, and cash flow tracking
• Build finance processes, controls, and reporting infrastructure
• Implement systems and automation to improve finance workflows
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling
• Build dashboards and reporting to track company performance
• Partner with leadership on KPI tracking and financial insights
• Provide financial analysis to support growth and operational decisions
• Over time, you will also support fundraising preparation and international expansion initiatives.

Ideal Profile

• Have 8-10 years of finance experience
• Have worked in B2B SaaS or high-growth technology companies(strong preference)
• Are comfortable operating in lean, fast-moving startup environments
• Enjoy building processes and bringing structure to growing organisations
• Can operate independently and partner closely with founders
• Candidates who have worked as a Finance Manager or a #2 finance hire in an early stage, high growth startup environment will be particularly well suited to this role.
