The Role
We are looking for a hands-on, qualified accountant (ACCA/CPA/CA) to join as Finance Manager and take ownership of our group accounting and financial reporting function, supporting the CFO across Accounting, Financial Reporting, Cashflow Management, and Regulatory readiness. This role extends beyond traditional finance functions. The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of tasks that support the growth of the business. We are looking for someone who is pragmatic, adaptable, and willing to contribute
The role is based in Singapore and is critical to our operational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly accounting close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting; Own journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany reconciliation across the group's multi-entity structure
- Determine and apply the correct accounting treatment for new or complex transactions under IFRS
- Prepare complete and accurate monthly and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow) in compliance with IFRS and group policies
- Oversee outsourced accounting partner for one market
- Support regulatory reporting across key jurisdictions (e.g. AFSL, MAS)
- Assist with finance system implementation and audit readiness
- Handle treasury operations, including daily cash flow monitoring and forecasting
- Coordinate and support steering of external partners including Banks, Law firms and Auditors
Candidate Profile
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline;
- Strong IFRS knowledge, ideally with exposure to consolidation and statutory reporting
- ACCA, CPA or CA qualification strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a dynamic, high-growth or multi-market business environment
- Strong technical grounding in financial reporting
- Prior experience in an audit or accounting firm strongly preferred
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to work independently and desire to handle multiple responsibilities
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and comfortable in a lean, fast-paced environment
- Training accredited by the Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) Singapore is viewed favourably
