Role Overview
Our client is seeking an independent and meticulous Finance Manager to lead the financial operations for our Singapore outlets. In this solo contributor role, you will manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting, providing critical support to the local General Manager while ensuring seamless integration with our global reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Manage the full set of accounts for Singapore operations in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact and liaison for the Group Finance team and counterparts in China to ensure alignment on reporting and internal controls.
- Strategic Support: Partner with the Singapore GM on operational matters, including cost-control initiatives, procurement inquiries, and pricing strategies.
- Taxation & Compliance: Oversee all local tax matters, including GST filing and Corporate Tax, ensuring all statutory deadlines are met.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly management reports and financial analysis, providing actionable insights to both local and headquarters-based stakeholders.
- Internal Audit: Perform regular checks on outlet POS data and inventory to ensure operational accuracy and financial integrity.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or a related professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in handling full-set accounts, preferably within the F&B or Retail sectors.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Singapore tax regulations (GST, Corporate Tax) and experience with accounting software.
- Working Style: Ability to work autonomously as a solo contributor, managing both hands-on bookkeeping and high-level financial reporting.
- Local Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the Singapore regulatory and financial landscape.
