Job Description:
- Maintain full sets of accounts for the holding company and assigned subsidiaries in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
- Prepare and review all companies monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements
- Perform group consolidation of financial statements, including intercompany eliminations and reconciliations
- Prepare review all companies, and submit Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns via myTax Portal, ensuring compliance with IRAS regulations
- Handle corporate tax matters, including preparation and submission of Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) and Form C/Form C-S filings for the Group
- Monitor and manage group cash flow, including preparation of weekly cash flow and cash position reports
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including the Companies Act 1967 and IRAS guidelines
- Oversee monthly payroll processing in compliance with local regulations, including CPF contributions, and prepare annual Auto-Inclusion Scheme (AIS) submissions to IRAS
- Lead, supervise, and develop the finance team to ensure operational efficiency and strong internal controls
- Liaise with overseas subsidiaries finance teams to ensure alignment in reporting and compliance standards.
- Coordinate with external parties, including auditors, local and overseas corporate secretarial agents (for Statutory filings), overseas tax agents, and bankers
- Work with IT service providers to ensure web hosting, email, accounting, and payroll systems are properly maintained and compliant
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Professional qualification such as CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA Australia, or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably within a group or multi-entity environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity
- Strong knowledge of SFRS, Singapore tax framework, and IRAS compliance requirements
- Familiarity with ACRA statutory requirements and corporate governance practices
- Hands-on experience with accounting and payroll systems (e.g., MYOB, QuickBooks, Timesoft, WhyzeHR)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders across different jurisdictions.
