We are looking for a Finance Manager to work closely with our Finance Senior Manager in managing the day-to-day accounting operations of our credit and lending businesses. The role will cover key areas including revenue recognition, accounts receivable, credit risk monitoring, monthly general ledger booking and financial reporting.
You will also support financial analysis, internal and external audits, finance-related projects and the continued improvement of financial processes and controls, while partnering closely with business teams across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Finance Senior Manager on the day-to-day accounting operations of the credit and lending businesses, including revenue recognition, accounts receivable, credit risk monitoring, and monthly general ledger booking and reporting.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and analysis covering areas such as credit risk, accounts collection and accounts receivable.
- Participate in system and process implementation projects, including the preparation of business requirement documents for finance-related areas.
- Recommend and implement finance-related internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, including IFRS and GAAP, company policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
- Support internal and external audits by coordinating the required documentation, analysis and follow-up.
- Work closely with business teams to provide finance and accounting perspectives on relevant business matters.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting compliance.
- Experience in financial closing processes and supporting business strategy is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent are preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle or HFM.
- Familiarity with accounting and/or auditing within credit and lending businesses, including model governance frameworks and credit data analysis.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese is required to effectively communicate with Chinese-speaking internal and external stakeholders across the region.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different departments.
