Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, ensuring strong financial governance, regulatory compliance.
Oversees a team of 6-7 finance personnel and supports strategic financial planning and treasury management.
Ensure timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with SFRS.
Oversee GST submissions and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and report on investment performance and financial progress of holding and investment companies.
Analyze financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to management to support decision-making.
Manage banking relationships and liaise with financial institutions on treasury matters, including funding and rates.
Support budget preparation and financial forecasting processes.
Oversee cash flow management to ensure operational liquidity and financial stability.
Liaise with external tax agents on tax filings and related matters.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Degree in Finance, Accountancy or equivalent.
Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA) would be advantageous.
Relevant experience in financial management, with exposure to full-spectrum accounting and statutory compliance.
Experience overseeing finance operations for holding or investment entities would be advantageous.
Prior experience managing or supervising a finance team is preferred.
Strong knowledge of SFRS and IFRS.
